My Reflection

I was learning to test the soil.  I put some cotton wool in the top of a plastic container  and we put in water in the cup and timed how long it took to reach the bottom. The water that went the quickest was in the soil that had the most air- this was school soil which was like compost

My Reflection

I wrote this description after I listened to a piece of music. I worked with Atharv. It was easy to think about Jurassic Park. I had some good ideas and Atharv helped to write them. I need to work on metaphors as I find those tricky.

I need to work on practising subtraction. I can do this by practising more subtraction problems at home. My goal is to get 80 out of 100 by the end of term 2.

Mathletics Fraction Problem

My Reflection

I was trying to work out the fraction that was shaded. I counted the number of shaded ones and then I counted how many pieces there were altogether. I find fractions tricky and need to work on this.

Mr Stink Book vs Film

My Reflection
I listened to the book and watched the film. I talked about the differences. There are differences between books and films because some things are easier when they are watched. I found it tricky to think of lots of differences.
